Fly at 15,000 feet over Pikes Peak in Colorado with Ultralight Trike
Henry says: This was one of my dream flights. Tracy, Rick and I flew over world-famous Pikes Peak (14,110 feet) with our trikes. We took off from Meadow Lake Airport and flew to the north of the peak and approached the peak from the west side to avoid the rotors created by 45 mph westerly wind. It was the most exciting and beautiful flight I ever had

When i get a chance to be out at 7 er 8 am round here i see mike and or his wife and friends in thier Balloons, now that i don’t particularily call it flying, i call it being at the “intelligent” mercy of the wind,,Its “FLOATING” Acsending or Descending, or being carried away, by winds, still gets ya up in the air, and frum there it is a totally different view and perspective, so i can’t help but chase them round and take a few shots whenevr i am in town early am…or flying myself, here a a few pics an a vid of mikey and his wife’s balloon and the balloons of pagosa springs …. with 300 days a year of Sun, there are plenty of kewl days to fly round here……
For it is snowing hard out and what do i do when it is snowing but to think of spring and flying down to munument valley and enjoining in the days of spring and summer fun to come….yearly adventures once i can ride my bikes i can go fly and stay warm…SO..!

Icarus, defying the gods,
he so wanted to fly like a bird,
but the sun punished him
and sent him crashing into the sea.
So I am as if He icarus was
BUT WITH A MODE OF TRANSPORTATION UNDER AND ABOVE
TYPES THAT NOW HAVE TRAVErsED THE WERLD – Unlike he ever Really knew!
Oh if Icarus could see these fabric wings
he’d sing with joy and delight ant 2oth century flight!
on our fabric wings
and holdin’ all along – so today we hold on yes we hold on to
Greater ideals than to defy the gods and gravity.
I forever now taste the splendour of the world
through the span of my wings, whenevr i get the chance.
Even when i am not flying i can be there be NOW.
To play a small part in the great symphony of the sky.
all i have to do sometimes is think to get high:)
To empathise whats its like to be with the Egret and the Albatross
the Eagle Hawk or the Crow as it may be
as they thank fate that they were not born
to an earthbound life.
